Suspenders and Stash Dash Goals

It's been all well and good, deciding that female action hero is a wardrobe goal.  Practical clothes you can move in are outstanding.  But...they feel too serious.  Hand knits also do not figure largely into the female action hero look.  Tank tops and cargo pants are solid work clothes.  I needed....practical sass? Vintage attitude?
Suspenders!  I purchased a pair in black and one in brown. (Black pair shown in less than stellar, vaguely monochromatic photo.)

Then, then I started thinking about my standard hair style; bright red braids.  Wouldn't a flat cap/driving cap look smashing as well as offer some sun protection?  So I went looking.  I found Morgan.  Perfect!  There is black, green and red yarn in the hoard that should work nicely!

It's a comical look, cartoonish even, while still being functional and non-fussy.  It's also easy to adjust for season or occasion.  No, it is not an original look, (Cathy Hay does it wonderfully!).  It is an upgrade from jeans and a tee shirt though, which is really all I was going for.

It also helps with my Stash Dash goal.  I made a list of the things I want to finish by August 22nd, then calculated the meters, (since Stash Dash is figured in meters).  Over 15,000 meters.  That is the top goal level.  I do realize that four tank tops, six shawls, one large hooded cardigan, eight sweaters, about ten or so little cropped tank tops (mostly for sleeping) and at least one flat cap is an absolutely binkers number of things to finish in three months.  Nor am I sure it is a physically attainable goal.   Who knows?  Guess I will find out.
